13.5m Class: Second World Championship

The 13.5 Meter Class is one of the newest FAI classes, established around 2012 with its first World Gliding Championships (WGC) in 2015. During the 1st 13.5m WGC, we flew Silent 2 Electros. Francois placed 3rd overall, and we were awarded with 3~(rd) place in the Team Cup. f This was a very satisfying re-sult for our team, of course, and so we set our sights on the 2~(nd) World Championships, to be held in Szatymaz, Hungary in July 2017. Part 1 provides some history about the inception and evolution of the 13.5m Class. Part 2 focuses on our experience at the 2017 2~(nd) 13.5m Class WGC.
