The Nebraska Public Power District will stop burning coal at one ofnthe two units at its oldest coal plant, the 215-MW Sheldon Station,nand convert it to what the NPPD describes as the first utility-scalenpower plant in the country to generate electricity through the use ofnhydrogen, the utility said April 17.
