Ashrae 'wiki' site defines technical terms

With all of the standards developed by ASHRAE over the years, keeping up with every term and definition can be difficult. That's why the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers said it developed its free ASHRAEwiki. The site, located at, contains over 6,000 terms related to buildings with a particular focus on mechanical, envelope, electrical, lighting, load calculations, design, water design and conservation, and energy use and measurement.
