Women in HVACR to address educators

Patti Ellingson of Women in HVACR will discuss how to recruit females into the HVACR industry at the National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference. The conference, conducted by HVAC Excellence, will be held March 18-20 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas. According to Women in HVACR, the U.S. Department of Labor estimates that 40 percent of the heating and cooling work force will retire in the next decade. The organization said there are many women who can replace these retiring workers. Although women are over 50 percent of the American population, they only represent a small fraction of the HVACR industry.
