A total 148,000 square feet of Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp. metal roof panels were installed while constructing Elon University's Station at Mill Point housing complex. The Elon, N.C., university's residential village features 25 furnished buildings that can house 324 students. The complex's 5,091-square-foot "depot" building - which includes a fitness center, meeting rooms, social spaces and a residence staff office - also features Metal Sales' 100 percent recyclable roof panels, and was awarded certification from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rating program.
