As one of the potential components in nanoscale electronics, high-quality, single-walled carbon-nanotube-based field-effect-transistor (SWNT-FET) devices have been widely studied to reveal their electrical transport characteristics, such as ballistic transport behaviors, doping effects, opto-electrical properties, and so on. Furthermore, various chemical and physical approaches have been attempted to modify their intrinsic electrical properties more efficiently. For example, potassium doping and simple polymer doping have converted intrinsically p-type SWNT-FET devices into n-type ones.
