FIFE'S RAILWAYS REMEMBERED

The author has compiled an excellent second collection of images old and new(ish) for this volume using material from several contributors. Spanning mainline and industrial operations, there is something in it for every enthusiast as the date range encompasses both the steam and diesel eras. Quality of the images is slightly patchy and, surprisingly, several of the poorly reproduced ones are modern; having the same orange colour cast as those in the East Anglian volume. Despite my expressed reservations regarding quality of some of the images, the content is such that if purchased, it shouldn't disappoint any reader, and is one that enthusiasts of the Fife area should appreciate.
