Permian sequence stratigrapy of the sichuan-yunnan-guihou-guangxi region

摘要

permian strata in the Sichuan-yunnan-Gulzhou-Guanxi region are researched by using the theory and methods of outcrop sequence stratigraphy. There are eleven third-order sequences to be identified and divide: three for the Qixia Stage, three for the Maokuo Stage, three for the Wujiaping Stage and two for the Chamngxing Stage. These sequences are correlated between 10 typical sections, showing their correlatability in the whole study area.
