The wide spectrum of topics treated in the papers that appear in SIMULATION reflects the ever expanding applicability of simulation as a Problem-solving tool. Often, however, a topic of special significance emerges, And it's useful to explore it by devoting to it a complete issue. Each year, the Journal publishes several such Special Issue. Each is developed by a Guest Editor who is particularly knowledgeable about the topic.
