Guest Editor's Introduction: Special Issue On Modeling and Simulation of Emerging Wireless and Sensor Network Technologies and Applications

摘要

Much of the world is in the midst of a great transformation fuelled by a new generation of mobile, ad-hoc and sensor network technologies and applications. The need to deal with the complexity and ramifications of these emerging technologies is intensifying the interest in the development of accurate simulation models and optimization approaches, rigorous design and implementation evaluation frameworks, and new simulation tools and algorithms to capture their essential characteristics and improve their performance. The focus of this special issue is on original research results, visionary approaches, novel modeling and simulation approaches to advance the state of the art of designing reliable, robust, and secure ad-hoc and wireless sensor networks and applications.
