摘要

Concentrated research and development has been requested for amorphous silicon and thin film crystalline silicon based materials to actualize the mass introduction of thin film silicon based solar cells. Taking into account the New Sunshine Program under Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Thin Film Silicon Solar Cells Super Lab. has been recently established in the Electrotechnical Laboratory. The background and the purpose of the Super Lab. are explained.
