ES7000 outperforms clustered, non-clustered servers in TPC-C test

The test configuration is based on a Unisys ES7000 with 32 Intel Xeon processors MP at 2.0 GHz with 2MB of L3 cache and 64GB of memory. The configuration includes Microsoft's forthcoming release of Windows NET Server 2003, Datacenter Edition and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition database. The complete configuration will be available March 31, 2003; the ES7000 with Intel Xeon processors MP at 2.0GHz with 2MB of L3 cache will be available in this quarter.
