摘要

Recently, the demand for vehicle's stability & controllability, which depends on the characteristics of chassis system, is increasing more than ever. Since 1999, Sumitomo Electric Industries has been researching and developing the chassis system which can achieve stability & controllability, in collaboration with Tokai Rubber Industries and Sumitomo Rubber Industries. However, there are only few methods for evaluating stability & controllability quantitatively. In this report, the authors propose an analysis method using Lissajous figures, and a transient response analysis method using vehicle dynamics simulation, in order to quantitatively evaluate stability & controllability.
