Photovoltaic Power Conditioner for Multi Dwelling Units

Power conditioner (PCS) and power monitoring system have been developed to promote the commercialization and increase the practical use of renewable energy. The PCS is an essential device in a photovoltaic system to convert DC power generated with solar panels to AC power to be used at home or similar locations. The PCS is small and best suited for the use in multi dwelling units (MDU). The power monitoring system allows for the display of real-time data on power generation and consumption as well as power sales and purchases, as shown in Fig. 1.
