CEM SYSTEMS STRIKES GOLD

Noyutolgo Isiteislocatedapproximately 550 km south of the capital, Ulaanbaatar, and 80 km north of the Mongolia-China border. Based on discoveries at the site during the past 9 years, independently verified estimates indicate that Oyu Tolgoi contains approximately 81 billion pounds of copper and 46 million ounces of gold in measured, indicated and inferred resources. The site is initially being developed as an open-pit mine with facilities being built on site to process and support the daily throughput of 100,000 tonnes of ore. The mine is expected to be ready to begin commercial production ahead of schedule in 2013. Oyu Tolgoi required a system which would be expandable and flexible enough to use on a site where requirements can vary greatly. AC2000 SE, combined with CEM's comprehensive range of industry-leading hardware, offered the high level of flexibility required by the client.
