Evaluating DialogLink 4.0

In early 2002, when DialogLink 3.0 was released, the launch received little press coverage. In fact, "Mousetrap" could only find a handful of mentions of 3.0 in a generous multifile search on Dialog itself. The most important improvement in that release was compatibility with newer versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system, and users apparently migrated slowly from DialogLink 2.X as needed. The upgrade searched as effectively as before and only offered limited enhancements, so most users apparently didn't view it as a critical update. With the announcement of DialogLink 4.0 in June 2004, many users wondered what Dia,-log would offer this time around.
