The Hemingway Patrols: Ernest Hemingway and His Hunt for U-boats

Author Terry Mort was a student of Hemingway biographer Carlos Baker at Princeton University and later, as a US naval officer, served at sea on deployments to Vietnam and other locations. Thus, he brings to his project the sensibility of a student of American literature and the perspective of a sea service officer. Both are evident in this work.
