V-SCREEN: A NEW CONCEPT IN SCREEN MESH TECHNOLOGY

With an eye toward the development of screen printing, NBC has developed a new mesh product - V-Screen - that offers an alternative to nylon, polyester, and stainless steel mesh fabrics. Here, we examine the physical properties and performance characteristics of V-Screen. V-Screen is a screen printing mesh made of a new high strength and abrasion-resistant material, VECRY, developed by Japanese manufacturer, Kuraray. It is woven with easy-to-handle synthetic fibres with ultra-high elastic recovery with the aim of resolving many of the problems encountered in screen-printing.
