Meeting print challenges with capital investment

The front page of this months' Screen Process and Digital Imaging magazine has proved to be an interesting project, with Capital Print working closely with Serico and the publisher to provide a different slant on the traditional print method. Capital Print looks forward to the industry's response and hopes that other printers will take up the challenge to produce alternative covers in the future. Client's are challenging companies like Capital for different and more interesting printing techniques and the company has used the Christmas promotional period to illustrate how materials with different effects can achieve exciting finishes. In November, Capital Print offered its clients a prize to promote compliance inside stores. The competition involved providing a picture of each store in the clients' estate using the Christmas material. All each store had to do was send in the picture, which was judged by Capital Print and the client. The prize was then issued to the staff of the store which had used the material correctly. This idea allowed clients to put their own spin on the compliance issue within their store and promoted Capital's and the clients' attempts to ensure that all stores wer looking the same across the whole estate.
