"Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated," claimed Mark Twain in response to a spurious newspaper report of his demise. Similarly, five or six years ago, many were heralding the imminent fall of screen printing at the hands of emerging digital-printing technologies. Yet today, in a new digital millennium, we see that screen printing is alive and doing reasonably well. Is it merely enjoying a stay of execution, or were the doomsay-ers fundamentally wrong?
