CLOSING REMARKS

I would like to congratulate the Austrian Advisory Board for Universities for having taken the initiative to organize this important international meeting on evaluation, and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Science and Transport for supporting it so that the conference became an element of the activities under the Austrian Presidency. This event is also an integral part of European initiatives on research evaluation.
