EVALUATION AT REGIONAL LEVEL-SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN STRUCTURAL FUNDS

The target of this paper is to suggest some ideas on the evaluation of science and technology policies at the regional level and addresses in particular the less prosperous regions, where technology is not market driven, and thus policy makers need to intervene in an effort to amplify market messages. The topic presents both academic and practical interest.
