But in the case of economist Richard Levin, who last week announced he would be stepping down next year after 19 years at the helm of Yale University, it's also true. Some 70% of the space on campus has been partially or comprehensively renovated since he took office in 1993, including a massive expansion of Yale's Science Hill.
