Drug Development from Concept to Clinic

Tokyo and Osaka were recently hosts to a prestigious Mission from the three "White Rose" Universities of York, Leeds and Sheffield from Yorkshire in the North of England. The Mission set out to demonstrate how researchers from this less well-known part of the United Kingdom are conducting fundamental studies which will be of great benefit to the Japanese pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Many of the young biotech companies based in Yorkshire, England, are also actively seeking partnership opportunities in Japan.
