Mitsubishi Electric Corp.: Outline and Characteristics of the Multimedia Workshop

Nippon Kagaku Miraikan is the mainstay facility for the dissemination of scientific and technological information in Japan, and its activities and results are distributed widely to both domestic and foreign organizations. The multimedia workshop developed by Mitsubishi Electric Corp. makes use of diverse methods designed to deepen public interest in and promote the progress of science and technology throughout the country. It incorporates a digital editing system with a workshop function to produce and edit various types of raw data and content, and also retains an MM workshop server to store and organize the various kinds of objects used in the production and editing of these data.
