Mirai CAN Opened for Service

The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (nickname: Mirai CAN; Director: Mamoru Mohri) that was introduced in the preceding Vol. 20, No. 78, P. 1-12 of this publication was opened for service on July 9th. On this day, prior to the national museum's public opening on July 10th, an opening ceremony was held by inviting related domestic and foreign personages as well as distinguished persons of various circles, including the country's top science and technology administrative personnel such as Yoshiro Mori, former prime minister, Atsuko Tohyama, Minister for Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and Koji Omi, Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, Cabinet Office. The ceremony was held successfully, and all related organizations placed great expectations on Mirai CAN.
