Biological Resource Center Started in National Institute of Technology and Evaluation

The National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) was renewed and became an independent administrative institution in April, 2001. As a new institute with well over 400 technical staff, NITE aims to establish a technological base for industry, human life and the economy and also aims to act as an interface between society and technology and promote two-way communications between the two. For these purposes, NITE will systematically collect and organize technical data and provide services which are not always available from private entities, universities, research institutes, and so on, for those who pursue advanced research achievements on their own.
