The above is a description of orbit determination technology presented as a starting point for space exploration developments presented together with an outline of the activities of Fujitsu in the associated fields. Fujitsu will continue its efforts in promoting the research and development of new technologies that are aimed at matching the advancement of space development activities in the future. To conclude, the author would like to express deep gratitude toward those persons working in NASDA, ISAS, NAL, Meteorological Agency, TAO (Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan) and other organizations, for their kind guidance concerning the development of the systems dealt with in this paper.
