A Photovoltaic System for Super High-Rise Buildings

摘要

With regard to the promotion of the dissemination of photovoltaic systems for tall buildings and based on sun light analysis using a whole-sky camera and public facilities, we have developed a method for an innovative system design. One that features high wind resistance, maximized power generation and minimal nuisance due to light and one which is suitable for installation on the rooftops of super high-rise buildings. The demand for photovoltaic systems for tall buildings, public facilities and industrial applications is expected to grow in the future, but their installation is often troubled by wind resistance, shadow and nuisance due to reflected light, as in the case dealt with in this report. This study should help reduce the time taken for finding solutions to such problems. In the future, it is required to improve the accuracy of the simulations further by collating the actual power generation amount data and the simulated value data.
