Dr. Ichiro Kitasato, the Chairman of Meiji Seika Kaisha, Ltd., has become the fifth President of the Japan Bioindustry Association (JBA), the association of Japanese firms involved in biotech-related industries. Dr. Kitasato is also the grandson of Dr. Shibasaburo Kitasato.
