'Microza' MF/UF for Water Purification

摘要

Since our first order for a drinking water purification membrane system (3,600 m~3/day) from South Korea in 2003, Asahi Kasei Chemicals has been promoting the dissemination of water purification membranes throughout the Asian drinking water, sewerage markets and industrial applications. It is expected that these markets will grow significantly in the future. Application tests of RO seawater desalination are also under way in some countries in the Middle East. With regard to the development of new technologies, the operation has been started in a sewage treatment plant (4,300 m~3/day) in Tokyo of an ozone-resistant MF membrane system that is used together with ozone to remove color, odor and organic substances and increase the permeate flux.
