BioJapan 2005 was held from Sept. 7 through 9 under the title of World Business Forum, at Pacifico Yokohama. The BioJapan 2005 Organizing Committee — comprising the Japan Bioindustry Association (JBA), the Japan Health Sciences Foundation (JHSF), the Society for Techno-innovation of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (STAFF), the Japan Biological Informatics Consortium (JBiC), the Japan Association of Bioindustries Executives (JABEX), the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) and NPO Kinki Bio-industry Development Organization (KBDO) — sponsored the event, which was managed by Nikkei Business Publications, Inc., with combined support offered by the City of Yokohama and Kanagawa Prefecture.
