A Tangible CAD System Using an AR Technique

摘要

A 3-D CAD (Computer Aided Design) system in which a user can directly touch and manipulate a virtual 3-D object with his/her hands has been developed. The keys to realizing this are the luminous control of a virtual object in order to produce an adequate mixed-world impression and an object-oriented input device which is for creating tangible sensation. The system can be applied to models of various shapes or to 3-D painting.
