Memory is a curious thing as it can be selective at the best of times and downright misleading at others. Recollection is coloured by the passing oftimeandaswe all know time waits for no-one. Or nothing when it pertains to model kits. Over the past 10 years - since I returned to the hobby -1 have diverted a select amount of resources towards purchasing some of those old classics, built back in my youth.The Monogram Snap-Tite P-40, countless Matchbox 76th scale armour kits, the Revell Dog Sabre, Esci F-5's, I could go on for ages... All are united by one quality, albeit to varying degrees.They are all nowhere near as good as I remember them.
