Experiencing a system breach that brings down multiple corporate computers is bad enough. Opting to get the affected systems back up and running quickly, without making any attempt to understand the true root of the problem, is usually worse. A U.S. Department of Defense agency knows this all too well. "It's just an ongoing thing with the Department of Defense (DOD). It is constantly under attack on its network computers around the world," says John Colbert, CEO of Guidance Software.
