Robust messaging security in an easy-to-use package

When SC Lab manager Mike Stephenson showed me this box I was impressed by the amount of well-organized information, setup menus and policy managers that Proof-point was able to squeeze into a simple user interface. The Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway is a single appliance that provides a very comprehensive suite of email management and protection tools. The platform for this array of capabilities is a mail transfer agent (MTA), so the gateway functions as an integral part of the enterprise's messaging architecture. When I questioned Mike on the setup and deployment of the appliance, I was even more impressed.
