摘要

Insider threats are generally the result of either misconfiguration in systems, poor access control or just plain copying of information using removable storage devices. Virtualization promotes system and application customization through the ease with which an enterprise can create, store and customize virtual machine images. By virtualizing desktop-based systems, enterprises can deploy custom-tailored machines so that a user only has the relevant applications that they need for their job. Virtualization also promotes image standardization and simplifies system updates.
