Workforce Development: Moving Down the Supply Chain with Strategies of Engagement

Developing and retaining a 21st century workforce is critical to the success of local and regional economies, as well as the national economy. The regional workforce development initiative described in this paper, coupled with its affiliation with the Harvard Pathways to Prosperity initiative, has proven to be an effective model for addressing this challenge.
