Five articles and some recommended books are included in this issue. The articles deal with absorptive capacity as a framework to enhance diversity, job crafting, the Leadership Lab, leadership as seen in collegiate soccer, and managing the effects of social media. Hopkins and Gross, in the first article, discuss the concept of absorptive capacity and explain how it can be used as a framework to help make a stronger case for diversity. The authors maintain that"... investigating the diversity-financial performance relationship within the framework of absorptive capacity allows the incorporation of several aspects of diversity that have been identified in the extant literature but have not been empirically tested."
