CURRENT SAFETY SYSTEM WITH BLOCKING, INCLUDING ADAPTIVE ELEMENTS

摘要

A directed current safety system with blocking, including adaptive elements, is considered for dc grids. The use of information on the load current prior to emergency is proposed. The basic relations for the triggering characteristics of the current safety system are derived for various configurations of the zone being protected. Tests of prototype systems confirm the validity of the approach.
