FREQUENCY-CONTROLLED ELECTRIC DRIVES BASED ON HIGH-VOLTAGE CONVERTERS

摘要

High-voltage frequency converters for smooth startup and speed regulation of synchronous electric motors of power 400-21,500 kV-A and supply voltage 6, 10, 15, and 75 kV are developed and investigated. These frequency converters permit improvement in the performance of pump and compressor units, increase in the reliability of the corresponding equipment, and reduction in waste.
