摘要

In measuring the temperature fields of equipment, the angular dimensions of the investigated regions are often comparable with the spatial resolution of the camera. Increased measurement error is unavoidable here. To reduce the error, the modulation-transfer function of the thermal imaging unit must be preliminarily measured and taken into account in analysis of the results. In practice, this is equivalent to increasing the range without employing expensive telephoto lenses. This approach has been successfully adopted in studying low-oil circuits in the fourth power unit at Novovoronezh nuclear power plant.
