The AVR-2M regulator has been developed on the basis of the ARV-M regulator, which is widely used at power stations inside and outside Russia. Operational experience with the ARV-M regulator is analyzed. The control functions of the new regulator are considered, as well as its communication with the operator. Design data are presented.
