Compensators of Reactive Power for Controlling and Stabilizing the Voltage of a High-Voltage Electrical Network

摘要

A new idea-provision of equality of voltage of supply centers and load centers by means of equipment of the mains by controlled sources of reactive power (SRPs)-is presented. Novel ferrothyristor reactive-power compensators (FTCs) for controlling and stabilizing the voltage based on prototypes-of about 60 SRP for 35-500 kVand 10-180 MVA-are developed. SRPs are used in the construction of SC current limiters.
