DOUBLE COUPLE RADIATION PATTERN IN ACOUSTICS. PART Ⅰ: A NONLOCAL THEORY OF RADIATION

摘要

The paper is written for the purpose of applying the double couple radiation pattern in acoustics. An understanding of the radiation and acoustical damping is important in the design of devices used for suppressing the noise. A new equation is found for a double-couple radiation pattern clue to the radiation force that appears through the variation of the acceleration field. The fraction of the energy loss by acoustical radiation can be attributed to this force.
