According to the authors of recent research from Chungli, Taiwan, "The Preference RankingnOrganization METHods for Enrichment Evaluations (PROMETHEE) methods, based on the outrankingnrelation theory, are used extensively in multi-criteria decision aid (MCDA). In particular, preferencenindices with weighted average aggregation representing the intensity of preference for one pattern overnanother pattern are measured by various preference functions."
