Scientists discuss in 'Biomimeticity in tissue engineering scaffolds through synthetic peptidenmodifications-altering chemistry for enhanced biological response' new findings in Robotics -nNanotechnology - Biomimetics. According to recent research published in the Journal of BiomedicalnMaterials Research Part A, "Biomimetic and bioactive biomaterials are desirable as tissue engineeringnscaffolds by virtue of their capability to mimic natural environments of the extracellular matrix.nBiomimeticity has been achieved by the incorporation of synthetic short peptide sequences into suitablenmaterials either by surface modification or by bulk incorporation."
