Researchers detail in 'Quantitative structure activity relationship for inhibition of human organicncation/carnitine transporter,' new data in machine learning. According to a study from the United States,n"Organic cation/carnitine transporter (OCTN2; SLC22A5) is an important transporter for L-carnitinenhomeostasis, but can be inhibited by drugs, which may cause L-carnitine deficiency and possibly othernOCTN2-mediated drug-drug interactions. One objective was to develop a quantitative structure-activitynrelationship (QSAR) of OCTN2 inhibitors, in order to predict and identify other potential OCTN2 inhibitorsnand infer potential clinical interactions."
