2012 JUN 11 (VerticalNews) -- By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning --nInvestigators publish new report on Boltzmann Machines. According to news reporting originating innParis, France, by VerticalNews journalists, researchers stated "We compare the recently proposednDiscriminative Restricted Boltzmann Machine (DRBM) to the classical Support Vector Machine (SVM) onna challenging classification task consisting in identifying weapon classes from audio signals. The threenweapon classes considered in this work (mortar, rocket, and rocket-propelled grenade), are difficult tonreliably classify with standard techniques because they tend to have similar acoustic signatures."
