Is the technology there? Yes. Can everybody get it to work? Probably not because there are loo many demands being made by different interest groups about what they want from it.There are massive contentious issues -there's been a huge focus on what happens on the border between Northern Ireland and Eire, but then not so much focus on what happens in mainland Europe. I travel through Rotterdam quite a lot. and I know the Dutch authorities are employing thousands of border staff just to manage Brexit, because there isn't the technology and there's no common ground for agreeing to it.
